As an option, a connected padlock can be installed on the rear wheel. This padlock is permanently connected to the service’s computer server via a 4G connection. It allows users to release a bike either via their smartphone (QRcode scan) or via their RFID badge.

The connected padlock allows the user who wants to stop during a ride to lock his bike in the street. For safety, the padlock is equipped with a GPS chip that transmits the position of the bike to the server at all times.
The connected padlock is especially interesting in multi-station parks, allowing the user arriving on a station without a free place to lock his bike and thus be able to complete his loan.
